ZoneFlood gets its name from “flood the zone”, the news concept most often attributed to former New York Times editor Howell Raines, but which Raines, in his interview with Ken Auletta of the New Yorker, said was actually coined by then deputy managing editor John Geddes.
We pick one topic, and then obsessively scour the internet for links that are relevant to the story. All tips are welcomed and we hope the comments section will become a place to trade rumors, gossip, and those all-important links to commentery, opinion, or news.
Since there are always new stories bubbling to the surface, we’ll sometimes prime the pump for “on deck” stories.
